Along with Coach Choi, I also met Billy during the pandemic at tryouts for high school soccer. Billy is a strength trainer, motivator, an unofficial academic/guidance/career counselor, a phenomenal supporter of student athletes in general, and also now my friend. Billy, while at El Camino Real, helped numerous students rearrange their course schedules to better fit the needs of the student athletes as well as helped many student athletes apply for scholarships. Fredo is one of the best foot skills trainers there is and someone I hope to hand off my players to when they are ready to go next next level. I began training with Fredo about at age 13, spending countless hours in private trainings, group clinics, and futsal games. I cherish those times during the pandemic when all the parks were closed that we were training and playing futsal in the empty lots behind a Babies 'R' Us!

KATIE'S SAVE
Steve is an incredible source of inspiration, strength, and guidance on and off the field. I first really saw Katie play when Stanford played UCLA in the 2019 college cup. That fire changed me and I've been hooked since. (If you know that game, you know.) Then in 2020, I was fortunate to be introduced and train with the Borchard Park Savages and met Katie and Steve. Beyond training no matter what he has on his plate, Steve manages to find the time to stop me, even if just for a second with some encouraging words or a tip to pick me up as I'm walking off the field.
